A striking 2 pac kitchen with sleek lines was created for this executive Sovereign Island home. The use of matt black and a black glass splashback enhances the impact, the simplicity of no handles on doors and drawers complements the flowing lines of the feature black granite benchtop and matt black sink and tapware.
Many onsite consultations were undertaken between the client, designer and cabinet makers to ensure the design provided function, space and storage requirements to the client’s brief. Detailed plans and elevations provided the client with exact layout, whilst colour 3D designs showed the visual space and flow around the island bench.
The kitchen features a number of high end finishes including:
- 2 pac black matt to all seen panels
- Black matt melamine to all internals
- Integrated fridge and freezer with fingerpull opening doors
- Integrated island bench dishwasher
- The extensive use of drawers rather than opening cupboards
- Blum Servo Drive electronic push to open, nudge to close drawers and bin
- Blum Intivo space tower internal pantry drawers behind push to open doors
- Blum Servo Drive electronic push to open bifold up upper cabinets
- Tambortech roller door
This high-end cabinetry includes finger pull integrated fridge and freezer and Tambortech roller door with internal pull out shelf for improved access.
A deep blind corner was utilised with the inclusion of a wire Finista complete corner pull out shelf, providing storage space for larger kitchen utilities. Adjacent to the cooktop a tray drawer provided easy access to commonly used items.
Blum Intivo soft close drawers with glass front and sides were used for both pantries, providing excellent visibility and access to pantry items.
This kitchen features the pinnacle of quality in terms of product and componentry. For a client that desires a clean, seemless look without handles, and prefers a nudge to close drawer (rather than one they are required to physically push closed).
In all a stunning, contemporary kitchen was created that the client loves.
